Day 1

• Scenic flight from Hervey Bay to Fraser Island landing on the eastern beach near Eurong.
• Take a short walk to Base Camp at Second Valley Eurong for a complimentary breakfast and start of the beach tour day trip.
• Take the Trailblazer 4wd Adventure bus (max 20 pax) and travel the 75 mile beach to Indian Head, seeing all the eastern beach attractions (Eli Creek, Pinnacles, Maheno Ship Wreck, Indian Head, Champagne Pools) with plenty of time to enjoy.
• Returning to One Tree Rocks beach camping zone near Lake Wabby beach entrance for the 1st night of your Fraser Island camping experience.

Day 2

• Wake up to a beautiful beach sunrise and take a scenic walk through banksia forest into Lake Wabby where you can swim in the emerald waters before continuing your hike through majestic untouched rainforest and old growth eucalypt forest to Lake McKenzie.
• Camp at Lake McKenzie close to the beautiful blue lake.
• Have the lake to your selves and experience its beauty at sunset, sunrise, full moon / stars.

Day 3

• Enjoy a moderate hike out to the Wangoolba Creek barge for a 5.00 pm barge back to River Heads where your Fraser Dingo pick up waits.

Departure Information: 

• This is a 3 day / 2 night Fraser Island FLY (Air Fraser) TOUR (Trailblazers) HIKE (Fraser Dingo)
• 6.00 am - Depart Hervey Bay Airport with Air Fraser - equipment and information provision to be organised for the afternoon before departure.
• This allows time for an information session and provision of equipment, permits and tickets.
• Suitable for people with an average fitness level (max 12 km longest day).
